Shadley Knerr's involvement in Nunavut began in 2020. Lauren Shadley has worked for Nunavut Legal Aid for the past five years. She was president of the Law Society of Nunavut from 2022 to 2023. Matthew Shadley started representing clients in Nunavut in 2021.
The team has worked closely with Nunavut and has an intimate knowledge of the cultural competencies and awareness required to undertake work in such communities. The team has travelled across Nunavut, in various remote communities, to further access to justice initiatives and ensure access to legal representation for Nunavummiut.
